Exit Through the Gift Shop

Pros: Insanely engaging documentary (mockumentary?) supposedly about street art legend Banksy, but ultimately about his impromptu videographer.  Leads you down the rabbit hole and doesn’t take you out: you’ll finish the film wondering who just got conned—the people in the film, or you.

Cons: Long, hyper, and too self-aware for its own good.  You’ll find out pretty quickly whether you’re a “street art” or “graffiti” person, and what that means.

The Verdict: If you’re into street culture, pop art, conspiracy theories, and skate punks, you’ll probably enjoy this.  A well-made documentary, but might engage in one too many gimmicks for many viewers.
